STATEWIDE ISSUES:
Lost and Found: I have a question concerning the young girl that fell into the Chatatooga River (Chattooga?) month or so ago. A few days after that incident a friend of mine (Chris Hickman) and some other friends went boating there and found a watch that we believe might belong to the young girl that fell in. The reason we believe this is because the watch was found not too far from the sight of where this happened and also because when found it was still looped together (fastened, rather) and you can tell that it was worn by a smaller person. It is a Mickey Mouse watch and the girl was sixteen. We are not sure, but we believe that it may belong to her and would like to find the family so if it did belong to this young lady we can return it. I do not know where to begin in this search. I have contacted the Newspaper here in South Carolina and I have been given some information that I intend to follow up on, but if you have any ideas that may help this search I would truly appreciate it. Thank you, Dianne Childress 1113-C Florence St. Columbia, SC 29201 803-806-8379 (home) 803-733-1369 (work).
