Three new rivers Wild and Scenic
Sudbury, Assabet, and Concord rivers newest additions to the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act
Three rivers in Massachusetts have broken a dry spell in Congress by being given protection under the WSRA. They are the first rivers to receive such protection in three years. The Sudbury, Assabet, and Concord rivers, all found northwest of Boston, trace their history through American literature, the Revolutionary War, and Native American occupation.
The new designation has focused attention on the levels of phosphates in the rivers. The Environmental Protection Agency will be conducting tests to determine the source of the pollutants.

"In 1907 Hugo Dubuque in Fall River Mass. recorded the plan of the North Watuppa Indian Reservation. The reservation is situated on Indiantown Road in Westport, MA. How do I proceed to get a copy of the original document of the North Watuppa Pond agreement or treaty. I believe it was in the 1800's when this took place."
