Allegheny River Competitive Paddlers - The Allegheny River Competitive Paddlers club is for canoeists and kayakers wishing to improve their paddling technique, speed, and endurance. Based in northwestern Pennsylvania, associated with many of the United States Canoe Association's top paddlers.
American Packrafting Association - The American Packrafting Association represents the packrafting community to promote conservation, safety, education, and access.
Blue Ridge Voyageurs - The Blue Ridge Voyageurs are a voluntary association of experienced whitewater paddlers located in the Washington DC area.
Bow Waters Canoe Club - Club located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Chesapeake Paddlers Association (CPA) - Offers many diversified activities and benefits providing a way for people to safely enjoy sea kayaking within the Chesapeake Bay region.

Hackensack River Canoe and Kayak Club - Founded by a handful of paddlers to promote the conservation of the Hackensack River and Meadowlands through paddling, membership has grown to over 400 and activities stretch across several states.

Keel-haulers Canoe Club - Keel-Haulers Canoe Club, Inc. is a loose organization of some 400 families from the Northeast Ohio area who share a common interest in the out-doors in general, and boating in particular.
Leage of Northwest Whitewater Racers - The League is an organization of northwest boaters devoted to promoting slalom and downriver racing in the Pacific Northwest.
Lehigh Valley Kayak & Canoe Club - Offers training, trips, socials and opportunities to improve and enhance rivers in and around Pennsylvania.
Lower Columbia Canoe Club - A whitewater and moving water paddling club based in Portland, Oregon.
North East Wisconsin Paddlers - North East Wisconsin Paddlers organization formed to promote safe paddle sports activities and skill development in northeast Wisconsin.
Oregon Kayak & Canoe Club (OKCC) - A group of boaters in the Portland area who have joined together to pursue a common interest in whitewater boating.
Ozark Wilderness Waterways Club - The Ozark Wilderness Waterways Club was organized in 1956 by families who had been canoeing together on Ozark streams, and felt that some effort was needed to help preserve those streams. The club now has approximately 100 family and individual members.
Philadelphia Canoe Club (PCC) - An active paddling community encompassing all canoing, kayaking, flat water and whitewater paddling (and more) with over 100 years of history and experience.
Wasatch Mountain Club - The Wasatch Mountain Club is an outdoor recreation club for adults based out of Salt Lake City.

Columbia Riverkeeper - To protect and restore the water quality of the Columbia River and all life connected to it, from the headwaters to the Pacific Ocean. We engage with a diverse group of agencies, Tribes, businesses, and grassroots organizations to protect and restore the Columbia River Watershed. Columbia Riverkeeper is part of the Waterkeeper Alliance, which is led by Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Friends of the Cacapon River - To preserve, protect, and promote the environmental health and scenic character of the Cacapon River and its watershed. (They also have an article that uses NOR's information about public ownership of rivers in West Virginia).
Friends of the River- Protects and restores California rivers by influencing public policy and inspiring citizen action.
Illinois Paddling Council (IPC) - Dedicated to promoting the safe enjoyment of all phases of canoeing and kayaking in Illinois, to assure access to the state's waters and to protect and preserve the natural resources within the state.
Tennessee Scenic Rivers Association (TSRA) - A volunteer organization dedicated to the preservation, protection and restoration of the scenic, free-flowing rivers of Tennessee.
Allegheny Aquatic Alliance - A nonprofit devoted to water protection and restoring the watersheds of Western Pennsylvania to their natural state.
Whitewater Learning Center of Georgia - A consortium of Georgia-based American Canoe Association-certified canoe, kayak, and paddle board instructors.
